The Details:

Breakfast: a wonderfully bountiful event served at 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 & 9:30 seatings. You choose from a menu hung on your door each evening. Your choices include fresh seasonal fruit, a selection of muffins such as Strawberry/almond or perhaps Orange/pecan, pastries of the day, an appetizer, and the entree of the day. This could be Smoked Salmon or other gourmet omelets, Lemon-Ricotta Souffle Pancakes, or maybe heart shaped Banana-Pecan Cornmeal Waffles with Maple Country Sausage. A selection of fine teas and coffees and fresh juices are available. There is a Continental-plus option for those with lighter appetites.

Reservations: As we try very hard to suit our guests needs to the rooms we have available, we prefer the personal touch of speaking to you on the phone. Feel free to call us at 1-800-217-0109 for inquiries or to make a reservation. You may e-mail us if you wish but we will still want to make phone contact to finalize the reservation.

Check In: In order to prepare our rooms for your arrival, our check in time is from 3:00 to7:00 p.m.. Later arrivals must make arrangements in advance if absolutely necessary.

Check out: 11:00 a.m.

Cancellations: Due to our small size, last minute cancellations impact us greatly. We kindly ask for 14 days notice prior to planned day of arrival. This lead time will allow us to rebook the room to travelers who must coordinate airline flights etc. in order to take your place. Regretfully... with less than 14 days notice we will make every effort to fill your room, but you are responsible for the cost of your entire stay if we are unable to rebook it.

Minimum Stays: In High Season and all Holiday Weekends we request a 2 night minimum stay. The Camden area has so much to offer travellers.... great restaurants, sailing, hiking, premier golf, film and art festivals, antique shopping, lobster and blueberry festivals, wonderful museums, lighthouses and islands to explore, upscale shops and galleries.... and did we mention the VIEWS? We find that our guests are often disappointed that they could not fit everything in! Camden is a great home base for all of this.... it beats packing and unpacking constantly.

Your Innkeepers: Former Bostonians, Bill Fontana, a sculptor, and Joanne Ball, a decorative designer, fell in love with Camden while driving through in 1989.
"We have to live here!" they both thought. A Little Dream is the happy result.
"Serendipity brought us here. we drove by this Victorian cottage with its pretty carriage house, bought it that day, and then thought...'Now what?' How about a B&B? A little dream!
"We lived in New York before we moved here. Now we meet guests from all over the world. People with interesting experiences and viewpoints on life. Honeymooners, actors, musicians, film producers, lots of sailors. Its wonderful!"

Foreign Languages spoken: Thanks to living in Switzerland as a child, Joanne speaks Italian plus some French and German.

No Smoking Please ... Regretfully ...including the premises, porches and decks. No pets, not appropriate for children.

Getting Here: it's easy: From the South take Highway #95 to Exit #22 at Brunswick Maine (Don't get lost coming around Portland, take Highway #95 Exit #9 to the right from the Maine Turnpike there, stay on 95.) From Brunswick take Coastal Route #1 to Camden. We are 1/2 a mile past the village and harbor on the left side of Route #1, 2 doors north of the Whitehall Inn. If you are in a hurry, you can bypass Rockland and Thomaston on Route #90. Pick it up 6 miles north of Waldoboro. It brings you back to Route #1 on the outskirts of Camden. From the North take Route #1. We are the second inn you see on the right hand side. If you are coming from the West it gets trickier. Its best to call us for directions. If you are coming from the East you had better be on a boat.

We look forward to meeting you and taking good care of you!
